1. Acceptance
By accessing or using saudi-law.ai (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is operated by Avangate Hospitality Services FZE (the "Company," "we," "us"), operating under the trade name "saudi-law.ai."
2. What the Service is
saudi-law.ai is an AI-powered information platform that:
- Provides general information about Saudi law in response to user questions
- Connects users with partner law firms when professional services are needed
- Offers Pro features (document templates, personal storage, AI retrieval)
- Operates as software-as-a-service (SaaS), not as a law firm
The Service is NOT: a law firm, a substitute for legal advice, an emergency service, or a guarantee of legal accuracy or successful outcomes.
3. Information, not legal advice
All content on the Service is legal information, not legal advice. Only a qualified lawyer licensed in Saudi Arabia who has reviewed your specific situation can provide legal advice. Do not rely on the Service for ongoing disputes, court filings, settlements, business compliance, personal status matters, or criminal matters.
4. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must have legal capacity to form binding contracts.
- If using on behalf of an organization, you must have authority to bind it.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, and display that content solely to provide the Service to you.
We do not sell your personal data, do not use your private content to train AI models, and do not share content with partners except for lead routing you have explicitly initiated.
6. Pro subscriptions
- Pro subscriptions auto-renew monthly or annually depending on plan.
- Cancellation is effective at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds are available within 7 days of initial subscription.
- We may change pricing with 30 days' notice.
- VAT applies to Saudi Arabia-resident subscribers as required by law.
7. Partner relationships
Partner law firms ("Partners") are independent businesses, not employees, agents, or affiliates of saudi-law.ai. When you click "Talk to a lawyer," you authorize us to share with the Partner your question, name, email, phone number, legal category, and selected region.
8. Prohibited uses
You may not:
- Use the Service for illegal purposes
- Circumvent security, rate limits, or usage controls
- Submit deliberately misleading information to manipulate AI responses
- Scrape or systematically extract content
- Resell access to the Service or use it to train competing AI systems
- Impersonate another person or entity
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, uptime, and suitability of Partners.
To the maximum extent permitted by Saudi law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or SAR 1,000, whichever is greater.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately for violation of these Terms, or with 30 days' notice for any other reason. You may cancel at any time.
11. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (royal decrees, regulations, and the Umm al-Qura official gazette) and, where applicable, the regulations governing the jurisdiction in which Avangate Hospitality Services FZE is registered.
Disputes will be resolved as follows:
- Good-faith negotiation for 30 days
- Mediation through a recognized arbitration centre in Saudi Arabia
- Arbitration under the applicable rules, conducted in English, by a single arbitrator
